A 15-year-old football player, Malakai Soloman, has filed a lawsuit against Valparaiso High School, the City of Valpera, alleging that school employees failed to enforce safety protocols and did not respond when he was injured during a limited contact practice. The lawsuit argues that schools have a fundamental duty to enforce these protocols and respond promptly to player injuries. Since the incident, Soloman has required medical attention and continues to suffer from post-operative symptoms.
