This New Health-Tracking Pet Collar Is Like a Smartwatch for Dogs and Cats

Tractive, an Austria- and Seattle-based tech company, has launched two new smart collars for pets, the Cat 6 Mini ($79) and Dog 6 XL ($89), designed to track pet behavior and identify health issues. The collars can also be used to access pet's travels and mark safe zones for walks, entries and exits. The company's CEO and founder, Michael Hurnaus, stated that the collars will revolutionise pet care for millions of families. The Dog six XL is designed for dogs weighing over 55 pounds and comes with a scratch-monitoring system that alerts users of unusual scratching behavior due to stress.
