Ferrari-Carano Winery, located in Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, was highlighted in a broadcast by Michael Miller of Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits for Women's History Month. The winery is led by two female winemakers, Natalie West and Rebecca Deba, who oversee white wine and overall production. Founded in the early 1980s by an Italian American family, the winery was selected for the segment due to its leadership by women in the winemaking process. Among the wines highlighted was the Ferrari-Carcano Sauvignon Blanc, aged in stainless steel to preserve acidity and freshness.
