The Cleveland Browns have signed cornerback Michael Coats as an undrafted free agent. The move comes after the team had to waive tight end Sal Cannella from Auburn University. Coats, who started all 12 games his senior season at West Virginia, will wear the No. 9 jersey during the 2026 season.
