One person is dead and another is critically injured following a stabbing incident in Merrillville early Sunday morning. The suspect, identified as Orell Whitaker, was arrested without incident and is believed to have sustained incising wounds. The incident occurred at around 2 a.m. The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition.
