Chris Pratt, the actor playing Mario in the Universal Pictures sequel to the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, has altered the character's catchphrase, "mamma mia" to a higher pitch. Pratt, who is from Brooklyn, questioned why this change was made for him as he lacks an Italian accent. He said he has always tried to vary his line delivery and that the change was necessary to remove some of the stink off it. The sequel, which premieres April 1 in theaters, will be directed by Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Donald Glover as Yoshi, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
