Walmart has opened its latest store in Celina, Texas, which will provide more than 300 jobs and offer a closer location for shoppers and help Walmart with its delivery efforts. The store is packed with innovative new approaches to how stores can appeal to shoppers, including a produce section designed to be more walkable, meat, seafood, and electronics. The new store also features a dairy section featuring Walmart's own milk from a new company-owned and operated processing facility. This move comes as Walmart plans to renovate over 70 stores in the state, many of which will be in the region. The Celina store is set to have drone deliveries in the future.
