The next Expedition in Arc Raiders, set to start on April 28, will see players earning extra skill points through dealing a certain amount of damage. This change was revealed in the announcement of the latest Expedition, a mechanic that allows players to sunset their current characters in exchange for certain perks, including skill points, and start anew for the next season. Instead of gathering stash value and coins, players will now have to deal damage to obtain all five skill points. The change is intended to encourage players to use loot rather than hoard it throughout the five-day window. Developer Embark Studios has also stated that significant changes to the skill tree are coming.
