The 3M logo can be seen among daily images from the Artemis II mission, which marks the first time a crewed NASA mission has flown beyond earth's orbit and around the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. The Peltor headsets, used by the military, law enforcement, firefighters, and other first responders, use noise-canceling technology to communicate during noisy environments. The spacecraft is set to return to earth about 7 p.m. central time on Friday, April 10, and is expected to cover more than 695,000 miles.
