The crypto market fell on Thursday, with bitcoin BTC $ 77,413.07 losing 0.7% since midnight UTC to trade at $77,600. This comes after the largest cryptocurrency hit its highest point since January. Meanwhile, Ether (ETH) lost 2.5% and now trades at $2,320. Despite this, the broader market remains optimistic. U.S. stock futures are also down, with S&P 500 and Nasdaq 500 futures both losing by 0.5%. While bitcoin futures open interest (OI) has dropped to 775K BTC from a record near 800K BTC, it remains at historically elevated levels.
