Pati Jinich, host of PBS's "Pati's Mexican Table," has developed a Diabetes-friendly menu featuring three naturally sugar-free recipes that meet ADA nutritional guidelines. The recipes are designed to debunk myths about Mexican food being unhealthy, greasy, fried, and contains too much cheese. Jinich partnered with Avocados From Mexico and the American Diabetes Association to create these recipes. The chef points out that avocados from Mexico are naturally naturally sweet and full of nutrients and can help slow blood sugar spikes. These dishes are so tasty that you'll want to make them regularly.
