Country singer Riley Green opened the 2026 edition of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 2 with a tribute to Toby Keith. The 37-year-old, who is the ACM New Male Artist of the Year for 2020, was introduced as a duck hunting brand and a troubled former Navy SEAL. Green will soon be featured on the Taylor Sheridan Television Universe (the TSTU), which premiered on CBS this weekend. His show included a cover of Jamey Johnson's "In Color" and a performance of "There Was This Girl" by Ella Langley. His 2019 hit, "I Wish Grandpas Never Died," is a triple-platinum tribute to his late grandfathers.
