Pop singer and beauty mogul Rihanna and TODAY co-host Sheinelle Jones had a moment of affirmation on the red carpet of the Met Gala in New York City. The Fenty Beauty founder, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, wore a custom made Maison Margiela outfit and held hands with Jones during a brief chat and selfie. The exchange came after Jones lost her husband, Uche Ojeh, to brain cancer in 2025. The high-profile event also featured appearances from Fenty's longtime partner, A$AP Rocky, and co-chair Beyoncé.
