J.P. Morgan now expects the Bank of England (BOE) to maintain its current interest rates through 2026, dropping from its previous forecast of two quarter-point cuts to two. The move comes after higher gas prices significantly increased the inflation rate. The next rate is expected to be cut only in the first quarter of 2025.
