The Strait of Hormuz has reopened to all commercial vessels, allowing Iran and the US to freely pass over the waterway. This comes as the countries are in the midst of a two-week ceasefire agreed upon on April 7. However, Iranian officials claim that continuing the naval blockade violates the ceasefire agreement. The national average for gas prices in South Florida is $4.09, down from $3.16 a week ago, and AAA warns that prices won't necessarily drop overnight.
