Boise is for giraffe lovers

Zoo Boise is inviting visitors to sit on a platform to feed its two giraffes, Jabari (16 years old) and Tafari (10 years old), leaves of romaine lettuce. The encounter costs $5 if a giraffe eats the offered lettuce, but if not, it is free. All proceeds from the Perkins Coie Giraffe Encounter support wildlife conservation efforts outside of the zoo.
