Youngstown nearly sets cold temperature record

The unofficial high temperature for April 20 in Youngstown, Ohio, was only 43 degrees, which was the fifth coldest on the record. This is not the norm for the date. Despite this, there are currently no record-breaking temperatures for the year. The normal high temperature is 63 degrees. The temperature is expected to remain around 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Despite warnings of potential freezing temperatures, temperatures are expected to return to the 60s as temperatures rise.
