Fern McCauley has been appointed head of development for ITV Studios-backed transatlantic scripted production banner, Poison Pen Studios, following her previous role as head of IP acquisitions at the label. She will work alongside Ben Stephenson across both London and U.S. teams to drive the development of British and American dramas. This appointment comes as Poison Pen prepares for the launch of two major new dramas on ITV later this year. McCausley's previous role led to successful sourcing IP across publishing, podcasts, and other media. She previously oversaw film and TV rights deals and IP development across publishing houses and publishing houses.
