Police in Jersey City interrupted a violent robbery in which five men attacked a victim who had met with them to sell merchandise. The suspects were arrested after police intervened during a disturbance near a housing complex. The driver, Erik Lagunas, 18, of Paterson, was charged with kidnapping, robbery, conspiracy, assault by auto, and other charges. Three men and a 17-year-old from Clifton were also charged with conspiracy, robbery and simple assault.
