A report by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has revealed that persecution against Christians in Egypt is increasing. The report criticizes the Egyptian government for repressing non-Muslim religions, stating that it continues to enforce laws, policies, and judicial decisions that repress non-musical religious life. The agency recommended that Egypt be added to a "Special Watch List" maintained by the US government for these violations.
