A Columbiana County grand jury is set to hear the case of Jason Hartsough, who is charged with kidnapping, aggravated menacing and assault. The incident occurred on April 6 outside a daycare center in the parking lot. A coworker reported that she believed her coworker may have been kidnapped after receiving concerning text messages. Police found the woman at the end of Lusk-Lock Road, where Hartsoug ran into the woods and eventually surrendered to police. The charges against Häää, who was highly intoxicated, have been transferred to the Columbiana Court of Common Pleas.
