US Vice President JD Vance is expected to attend potential peace talks with Iran in Islamabad, according to Axios. The Iranian delegation reportedly received approval from Iran's supreme leader, the Revolutionary Committee (IRGC). The Iranian negotiating team reportedly hesitated to join the talks without an end to the US blockade. The White House initially waited for a signal from Tehran that an Iranian delegation would also be joining.
