U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, a prominent Democrat in New Jersey, has been busy with a busy schedule, including a new book called "Stand" that explores division in the country. The book follows a 25-hour speech he gave on the Senate floor last year that inspired him to write about the need for action. Booker also began a book tour with a conversation with Jon Bon Jovi and was at Newark airport to criticize President Donald Trump for sending ICE agents there amid the government shutdown dispute with Dems. He is also pushing a bill that would eliminate federal income taxes on the first $75,000 earned by married couples. Despite criticism from Republicans about him being too showy and too focused on national issues, Booker is currently unopposed in the Democratic primary and appears to be on the verge of a second presidential campaign.
