Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen was found dead following an alleged domestic violence incident. Her body was discovered in her home after colleagues at City Hall noticed she hadn't shown up for several morning meetings. The police report stated that her body was found covered in a comforter and covered with a garbage bag. Her husband, Stephen Bowen, was tracked down to an apartment in Plantation where he was reportedly staying with a friend.
