‘Legend of Zelda’ Movie’s Team Celebrates as Production Wraps Ahead of 2027 Release

Sony has revealed that the Legend of Zelda movie has completed principal photography and is set to be released in 2027. The film is being produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad, and directed by Wes Ball, whose most recent Planet of the Apes movie was a box office hit. Sony did not reveal any additional information about the film. The adaptation is from a partnership between Sony and Nintendo and is scheduled for release on May 7, 2027, with Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth playing the lead roles.
