Jessica Mann, the woman who accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, has spoken out following a mistrial verdict. She stated that the decision does not detract from her account of the truth and crimes committed against her and others. Despite the mistrial, Weinstein remains behind bars and has not yet been sentenced for his 2025 conviction. The mistrial was the third on the charge that Weinstein raped Mann. In 2020, he was convicted in New York of raping Mann and sexually assaulting former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley, but this conviction was overturned in 2024 when the trial judge wrongly allowed women whose allegations were not involved in the case to testify.
