Louisa Peck, a woman who had a near-death experience in her early 20s, has claimed that her paranormal powers have since led her to believe in the coexistence of intelligence and love, which she believes are one of the elements of the universe. After overdosing on a laced drug and going into cardiac arrest, she experienced a death-like experience where she felt like she landed on a new land where her body slipped away and she was able to fly and meet her ancestors. She could sense their joy at her joining them and felt honored to do so, despite her previous life as a materialist atheist.
