Two women seriously hurt in Good Friday Lancaster crash

Two people have been seriously injured in a collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian over the Easter weekend in Lancaster. The collision occurred at 18:26 BST on Morecambe Road, with a Chevrolet Spark Plus travelling towards Greyhound Bridge Road hitting a stationary Kia Ceed, which then hit a woman on the crossing. The Chevrolet passenger sustained a serious leg injury, while the Kia driver received minor injuries. The road was closed for several hours during investigation but has since reopened.
