Halawa man accused of wife’s axe murder pleads not guilty

Frank Bright, the man accused of murdering his wife with an axe in Halawa, has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the incident. The alleged attack occurred at their home in September, with Aimee Takaki reportedly found with 29 axe wounds. Despite being mentally unfit for trial, Bright is being held without bail at Oahu Community Correctional Center.
