A storm system is expected to move into Southern California late Saturday night, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds, mountain snow, and the possibility of thunderstorms early Sunday. Most areas will remain dry and mostly sunny, with temperatures expected to remain cooler than average. The main storm system arrives overnight, with the heaviest rain expected during the early morning hours of Sunday. Higher elevations could also see significant amounts of snowfall. A winter weather advisory is expected for mountain areas with heavy rainfall and strong winds.
