The alleged sexual assault case involving teen students from The Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain involves four middle school students from Costa Rica and involves two out of four suspects named as adults, but not for the alleged assault, which may be difficult to prosecute due to the nature of the crimes. The case involves middle school teens who may still be underage but are being charged as adults due to their alleged involvement in possession of child pornography. Nicholas Wooldridge, the LV Criminal Defense Attorney, stated that while the crime occurred in Costa Rica, there may be exceptions due to jurisdictional issues. If convicted, the teens may also have to register as sex offenders if convicted.
