Disgraced former University of Michigan football coach, Sherrone Moore, was sentenced to probation for a stalking incident involving his ex-mistress, Paige Shiver. Moore had previously pleaded down to two misdemeanors related to showing up at Shiver's home and threatening to kill himself when she broke things off. The judge warned Moore that he wouldn't hesitate to jail if he violated his 18-month probation. Moore's lawyer, Ellen Michaels, claimed that Moore had taken responsibility and sought mental health treatment after the incident. The incident occurred after Shiver confessed to the school about the affair.
