The move comes after leaders of the largest U.S. banks, including Bank of America, were warned about the risks of a new AI model from Anthropic, which they believe could threaten the world's banking systems. The model has not been released to the public and has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities in every major operating system and web browser. Despite these warnings, the bank has outlined plans to scale up its AI use and focus on governance.
