Anastasia Sevriukova, a woman who worked as an aerospace engineer for Boeing and lived in St. Louis with her fiancé, was diagnosed with colon cancer in summer 2024. She initially dismissed the symptom as part of her menstrual cycle, but her primary doctor recommended a visit to another medical professional. The cancer spread to her liver after undergoing chemotherapy and two surgeries, but it is still in her liver. Sevree has since relocated to Rochester, N.Y., and is seeking a living donor who would only need to give half of their liver to her.
