Nigerian footballer Uar Bernard, who has no high-level organized football experience, is attracting attention at the NFL's HBCU showcase. Despite being 6-foot-4 and 306 pounds, Bernard's performance at the HBCu showcase has been lauded as exceptional. His vertical jump of 39 inches and a broad jump of 10-10 were among the standout performances at the combine, marking 14 inches more than any other defensive tackle at this year's NFL combine. Bernard began training on Jan. 18 in Florida and is currently in Pittsburgh for the draft.
