Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins celebrated her retirement from cross-country skiing on Sunday, April 19 at Allianz Field in Minneapolis. Diggins, the most decorated cross-continental skier in U.S. history, plans to continue speaking out about the importance of mental health and encouraged fans to continue wearing glitter. She formally retired in March after her final race in New York, where she clinched her fourth overall World Cup title. Fans said Diggins' greatest legacy is leading a new generation of skiers. The Emily Program, one of the nation's largest eating-disorder practices and one of Diggins's biggest sponsors, shared resources at the event.
