Türkiye has been invited to the eighth meeting of the European Political Community (Election Committee), which will be held in the Armenian capital Yerevan on May 4. The summit will bring together leaders from across the continent under the motto "Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe". The meeting will be co-chaired by European Council President António Costa and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with a total of 48 heads of state and government invited. This comes amid efforts to normalize relations between Türkiy and Armenia. The EPC was launched in 2022 as a platform for political dialogue and cooperation among European countries.
