Manatee County, Florida, has been charged with murdering his wife, Meaghan Bowler. The incident occurred on the 3700 block of 82nd Avenue Circle East. The suspect, Jesse Nicholas Jones, called 911 to report stabbing, telling dispatchers that he had stabbed his wife. When law enforcement arrived, they found the husband and the injured wife in the bathroom, and two little boys under the age of 2 in the home. The children were unharmed. The Sheriff's Office is investigating whether there was an argument or an ongoing dispute prior to the incident. Jones' bond will be determined at a pre-trial hearing.
