'Avengers: Doomsday' first look at Robert Downey Jr. revealed

Marvel has revealed the first look at Robert Downey Jr. in the CinemaCon trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, marking Downey's return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as supervillain Victor von Doom. The trailer opens with the sign for Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters covered in rubble, and then sees Downey in profile with his green cloak covering part of his face. This marks the first clear look at Doom's iconic metallic mask. The film will be released in theaters in 2026. The cast includes Chris Evans, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden, as well as members from the X-Men era.
