A man has been arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident involving a victim and two young children in Fresno. The incident occurred during a verbal argument where Matthew Lopez, 27, allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat and pushed her into a wall for five seconds. The victim managed to get a phone and escape Lopez's pursuit. Both the victim and the alleged attacker sustained injuries consistent with the victim's account. The arrest was made on suspicion of felony domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment.
