The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Utah Mammoth 3-2 in their first home game since the death of legendary player and broadcaster Troy Murray. Frank Nazar scored the game-winning goal in overtime, marking his sixth point in four games. The game was marked by heavy hearts and a moment of silence before puck drop. The teams will now face each other in Salt Lake City on Thursday for the chance of securing a season sweep against Utah. Left winger Andrew Mangiapane, acquired in the Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach trade, has been successful in his first two games with the Hawks.
