Raleigh's housing market is experiencing one of the largest slowdowns in the country, ranking third nationwide for the largest increase in days on market, according to a report from RE/MAX. Homes in the area average a staggering 68 days on the market, a more than 30% increase from the previous year. Home sales decreased by 3.7% year over year, while prices continued to rise by 2%. Realtor Erica Sizemore noted that more activity has been seen since spring, with some homes now attracting multiple offers.
