The tower would be built in a monopole structure between the baseball and softball fields at Edward Flink Field, located at 1298 Garfield Ave. After AT&T agreed to lower the height of the proposed tower from 150 feet to 120 feet, but this plan faced opposition at a July 8 meeting.
