A nine-person E. coli outbreak has resulted in nine cases, with seven confirmed to have consumed Raw Farm-brand dairy products, including five of whom ate the company's raw cheddar cheese in 2026 and two of whom drank its raw milk in 2025. Over half of the illnesses were in children under 5 years old. The Food & Drug Administration warns that the true number of sick people may be higher than the reported number reported and may not be limited to the states with known illnesses. The affected milk is no longer for sale and anyone who bought the cheese after Jan. 4, 2026 should throw it away and clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers it touched. No deaths have been reported.
