Paddleboarder wearing backpack cruises along the icy Hudson River in ‘wild’ adventure

A paddleboarder wearing a backpack navigated the Hudson River while it was still clogged with ice. Eddie Freiberg, a real estate broker from Greenpoint, witnessed this unusual activity while he was showing clients an apartment. The man didn't appear to be wearing a wetsuit and even had a backpack on. The FDNY did not receive any calls regarding this incident. This isn't the first New Yorker to paddle in the river during winter.
