The Miami Film Festival (MFF) has concluded its 43rd edition, with an extra day added to the length of the event, extending its length to 11 days. The festival is known for being a great place for filmmakers, including big-name filmmakers and emerging ones. Among the stars honored this year were Adam Scott, Bob Odenkirk, Danielle Brooks, Lili Reinhart, Matt Bomer, and Sonia Manzano, who received the festival’s Impact Award for her documentary Street Smart: Lessons From a TV Icon. MFF's focus is on films with Latin American themes or connections, particularly films about Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
