Market Basket announces new CEO who began as a bagger over 50 years ago

The Market Basket Board of Directors has promoted Chuck Casassa to the position of CEO after Donald T. Mulligan retired. Casassan began his career as a bagger over 50 years ago and has served as a store manager for the company since 1987. He was promoted several times and is currently working alongside Mulligan, who has been the Chief Financial Officer for the past 27 years. The Board is grateful for Mulligan's dedication to Market B.
