Former Xbox executive Laura Fryer claims she was forced out of her job after refusing to put on a bathrobe given to her by a colleague during a major gaming conference in 2004. Fryer, who was director of the Xbox Advanced Technology Group at the time, said the incident occurred during the Game Developers Conference. She claims that the next day she was told she was being reorganized out of my job and replaced. A friend believed the incident triggered the move and reported it to human resources on her behalf. Despite corroborating her story, Fryer was pushed out and her career went from "red-hot" to "radioactive".
