Kenya Tilford, 43, has been sentenced to life without parole in the first-degree murder trial in Westchester County, the first torture-murder trial in the county's history. Judge George Fufidio also provided permanent orders of protection for Tilford's victims. Tilford was convicted of murdering Connecte Morton, who tortured her with deliberate cruelty for three months before being strangled to death. The DA praised the efforts of the New Rochelle Police Department, the Dunn family, and the surviving victims of Tilford’s sexual abuse.
