The incident occurred on Saturday (April 25) at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington, D.C. where the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Cole Allen, was apprehended and taken into custody. Following the incident, social media theories suggested that the event was staged as a way to distract from issues such as the president's war with Iran, the Epstein files, and the president’s falling approval ratings were prevalent. Fox & Friend co-host Brian Kilmeade called the claims “insane!” and “nothing could possibly have been staged.”
